Submission Edits
So with the help of some really amazing people, Mike Davis, Greg Gibson, Josh Cogan and Katja Heinemann I was able to edit the work down to my final selections. I could never have done it without their help, what talented friends I have. A special thank you to Mike Davis, why did I not know you sooner, you would have made the last 15 years of my photography career and my Grad thesis, so much smoother!
I feel encouraged and motivated about the work. I know that I can continue to expand and move through other possibilities but I have a very secure spirit about what I have currently. I am hoping that this will open a door to being able to further my fine art career and continue to document people who make my life worth living.
Here are my top pics, I am off to submit them to several galleries through Maine and New Brunswick, wish me luck!

Gorgeous set of images, Nicole. Love so many of these, esp. #3 and the flying lobster. Have you seen Jean Gaumy’s Men at Sea?
That book is fantastic! Very different from my work but so inspirational. I was given t as a gift by a dear friend a couple years ago when she saw some of my work!

These are simply amazing pieces of work. You are truly an artist. You’ve made lobster fishing beautiful…to everyone. Fantastic work. – My personal fav is the arm and the cigarette….absolutely lovely.
